OUR STORY
We stumbled upon each other in the midst of a pandemic on a little app called Hinge - where swiping left and right became our new favorite pastime.
Jamie: I was innocently scrolling through Hinge, minding my own business, Then, out of nowhere, I see Carm's profile (yes, with Yankee, apparently they are a package) pop up. Now, I'll be honest, I swiped left not once, but twice. Why? Carm is four years younger and that is a no-no. But Hinge had other plans, and it kept throwing Carm's profile back at me. So, I finally caved in and thought, "Eh, why not? Let's give this a shot.”
Carm: After a day on Hinge, I was ready to delete the app as I saw the same faces as four years ago - I told Yankee “oh welp, I guess it's just you and me bud!”. But then, Jamie’s profile appeared, and "Hmm," I thought to myself, "she’s new and older which I like, so fine” then swiped right.
And just like that, the rest is history. Before we knew it, we were inseparable. Who would've thought that a pandemic and a dating app would lead us to each other? But hey, stranger things have happened, right?
So here we are, ready to embark on the next chapter of our lives together. And it all started with a swipe.
